Lawnmower Repair

Hi All
My lawnmower would not start so i cleaned the magnets changed the fuel and sparkplug and replaced the carburettor.
Now it starts but does not gain full spped and then turns off after about 30 seconds
I have attached a photo.
Engine is Briggs and Stratton 140cc 500e series
Please can someone advise.

Air filter?

When the engine is running, does it blow any black smoke at all? If so, remove the air cleaner and try again.
Is the carburettor a new one, or one that has been taken to bits?

new carburettor installed

I will try cleaning the air filter tomorrow.

There is no black smoke

If there isn’t any smoke, its unlikely that the air filter is blocked....check the fuel flow from the tank.
Does the engine restart readily enough?
