Hi guys,

Just a question in case any of you know the answer before I spend a lot of time hunting.....

I am after a Black half lantern PIR outside wall light with the facility to switch on via another switched live. I have run a 3-core and earth to the fitting.

Does anyone know of a place I can order from please? I have started the search but such information is neither there or is proving difficult to find.

Thanks in advance,
Dave.

Many of the pir's come with adjustments to the length of time the light stays on, or to stay on permanently when switched. Have not seen one where this is done other than at the fitting.

I’ve seen a few PIR lamps that can remain permanently on by switching it on, then off, then on again quickly.

Search 'PIR lamp with manual override'.

Lyco have a good range of good quality lanterns https://www.lyco.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=half lantern outdoor

My usual recommendation would be to separate the PIR and the lamp. Robus do a decent PIR which can be used with an override, and it can be paired with any lantern/fitting.
