I know a number of children who were brought up by only one parent, either mum or dad, and they are good mannered respectful teens/early 20's.
I also know some families were kids have been raised by both parents being there for them and some of the kids are absolute horrors. Some of these families had both parents working and some had the ubiquitous father works/mother stays at home lifestyle. So in my opinion you can't simply say they are bad because a father/parent is missing.
It all starts at the cradle where children should be taught respect, morals and principles in life. Without these foundations it is more difficult to instil them in later life and even more difficult if the parents don't practice these values. Things are not helped when the justice system in this country does not apply deterrents to anyone who doesn't conform to behaving in a responsible manner in public and think they can do what they want, where they want, whenever they want. I don't go along with these social workers who cry the mum/dad came from a broken home and have no experience of raising children. If anything they should be better at it by not wanting their children to suffer the way they did.

My mum hit the right balance between loving/caring for us but also not standing for any nonsense. I can confidently say if I'd ever told my mum to f off, I'd have known about it! The thing is, due to the way I was brought up, it never crossed my mind to speak to her that way, even though we had our fair share of mum/son arguments especially in my teen years!

First time I said to my dad to Fk himself was about 87, He'd come home and said right, get packed up, were moving again, all excited. Where to Dad. 'BELFAST' . Living in Gosport (Portsmouth), we knew what $h1t was going down....

Mrs Mottie saw a small child take down his trousers and pants and urinate under a shelf in Woolies once with his mum just watching him.

A memory that will probably stay with her forever, filed next to the image of a grown man licking hand rails.(y)

Years and years ago, Mrs Motties mate worked in M&S in the women’s clothing department. On several occasions they had to close the changing rooms off for cleaning as they have found used tampons/sanitary towels and even turds in the changing cubicles!

That’s a WTF!

There are exceptions to every rule, & some folk do like to focus on them. Maybe because it drags the argument away from solving the problem & simply "talking" about it is much easier.

We can do 2 simple things tommorrow which would halt this downward path into madness, or we can carry on & live with the consequences.

Maybe 3 things, we need to radically alter our political system & become a true democracy.

Dr. Jordan Peterson. A clinical psychologist who
Had to curtail his clinical sessions due to his interaction with his clients.
The same Dr that is right wing, even been described as a Fascist apologist, but claims he's not right wing.
The Dr that claims universities are responsible for political correctness, and claims that political correctness is a manifestation of offense sensitivity.
The one that thinks women's studies should be de-funded, and actively advises students against studying the humanities subjects.
And that humanities subjects, especially sociology is becoming less reliant on science.

The Dr that eats only meat, and his daughter has an online following about eating only meat.

He sounds like an interesting kind of person, someone you could enjoy a few meals with. But not someone whose views are scientifically reliable.

Give him all the bad press you like, come back when you can prove he's wrong.

Your very first sentence is what we battle against. Untruths, half truths & outright lies.

Perhaps you'd like to join in the efforts to cancel him?

We are legion.

No need. If he made any sense or told the truth, people would pay attention. However....

However what?

Have you looked at the figures?

Why would you, 20mins ago you thought Owen Jones was the messiah . . .
