It's how you package it. I am sure it was said by the media with such fondness and sweetness that an 18 year old swept a thirteen year old off her feet. If that happened today and they were poor he would be branded as a paedophile - so times have changed for the better?

You have conflated Prophylactic vaccine with a therapeutic vaccine. A prophylactic vaccine role is to build immunity before you get an infection whilst a therapeutic vaccine is used if you get infected. The work differently.
Lockdowns were meant to reduce the incidence of transmission not to eradicate the virus.
Masks again were meant to reduce the incidence of transmission. It was a simple measure and didn't curtail your freedoms.
Its 72.9% of stats are made up!!!!!!!!

because you are comparing catching Covid with the vaccine. You should also account for the probability of not catching Covid.
It is not as bad as made out, is it?
It was supposedly going to kill everyone like AIDS did in the 80s.
The effectiveness of lockdowns is not borne out by the comparison with other places.
Not to mention 'stay home unless you go out' is not effective lockdown.

Nope, that's still included in the 1 in 100,000 guestimate. For any individual at the moment the odds of a vaccine causing injury is massively less than the chance of catching Covid-19 and suffering as a result. Th graphic seen earlier showed the crossover point but it assumes a rate of 20 per 100k, rather than the current 35 per 100k.
If the amount of infections in the country drops further then that may change, but it doesn't seem likely in the near future as the virus is increasing at the moment.
