Hi
Please can someone advise if the EPH boiler control is correctly installed.
The control is wedged against a hot water pipe (there is a cooling vent on the wedged side) itis very loose in its fixing moving when you touch it and there are gaps around the edge. The water feed for topping up the system is above and to the left of the gap around the control and I am concerned that water could enter the gaps.

Thank you

I think you know it's not right. There's no way that magnetic system filter can be serviced either. Let me guess, the whole lot was launched in in a single day and they were back in their vans heading home by 4pm, ready to throw another box at the wall tomorrow...

You guess correct. The flue collar is also unable to sit flush against the wall at the bottom, as the top back of the boiler is in the way. There is a slight feel of air entering where the bottom of flue appears not to be sealed.
The wiring also exits the boiler at the side rather than underneath although I’m not sure if this is an issue.

Thanks

I have also noticed the sealant does not go all the way round and the flue collar is not flush to the wall I can feel a slight amount of air entering at base of flue

As mentioned, you know that the wireless controller should be moved, it should be anywhere near heat. Also agree that the mag filter would probably need to be removed to service unless it's a trick of the camera and there's enough space to get a container underneath the filter and loosen the nut.

Boiler make dependent (WB possibly?) and logistically how high up it is, it's best practice to seal the flue on the outside as the point is to stop flue gases from outside entering back into the cavity or property. If safe to do so, pull the outside weathering collar back and check the flue has been sealed with mortar or similar. Even then if there's a draught then it should really be sealed at both ends but I wouldn't be worried so much about the internal seal, that's something you could do quite easily.

Yup ...I'd be calling them back for the few snagging issues.

Thankyou everyone for your help and comments. I will get in touch with the company and ask them to sort out issues.
