Post the best photo you took today

Charlestown Harbour, bit cold and windy.

The grey/blue building at the end of the row on the right is the Pier House Hotel, not a bad drinkery when it's open. Film buffs will be interested to know that the middle downstairs window at the Pier House is the one Donald Sutherland was thrown out of in the film The Eagle has Landed. Just out of view is the beach where they shot Robert Duvall in the same film.

I have had a beer at said pub. Did not know about Donald.... plenty of films have been filmed there... my fondest moments are of course Gossip related....

Actually went out on the bike today. On the way home, I stopped off in one of the only two stations on the London underground to take this photo. @transam will like it and @Bobby Dazzler will hate it although it is nothing to do with Nazi's. Art Deco. (y)

You don’t realise how big they are. I went sea fishing once from a boat and caught a reasonable sized herring when I was fishing for cod. It must have been about 10” long and quite chunky. I unhooked it and threw it back and practically before it hit the water, a gull swooped down, scooped it up and swallowed it in one gulp.
