I'm currently extending a previous extension. As part of that i'm cutting a channel into my extension floor for a soil pipe to go in for an ensuite we're pre planning for. It seems daft to have to cut a second channel for the electrical supplies that'll be needed on the Kitchen island the pipe runs under so is it okay to put a suitable conduit that close to a soil/waste pipe and also a possible hot/cold water line(GF not decided on sink location yet!) all within the confines of a single pea shingle lined Channel/trench?

That should not be a problem. Indeed, the only potential issue at all I can think of would be the hot water pipe (which would usually be cold, anyway) - but you could presumably put the soil pipe between it and the electrics ('just to be sure'), couldn't you?

The channel is 350mm wide so plenty of room to put cable conduit one side and water lines the other. I just wanted to check there wasn’t some weird rule I’ve missed stopping it being done?

No, you haven't missed anything. Even without conduit, there is no problem in having electrical cables in proximity to water-containing pipes, per se - as I said, the only conceivable issue would be a thermal one if the electrical cables were close to hot pipes. However, even that is only really an issue with CH pipes since HW ones are not usually very hot for appreciable periods of time.

Nope. Soil pipe will be for the ensuite waste and pick up the kitchen island waste as it passes. The remaining space within the channel will be used for a conduit for the electrics and also now a hot and cold water feed.
