That’s stalker talk! :cautious::D
Not at all. Dangee (and ReganandCarter, sxturbo, transam et al) thinks that if they can ignore someone then that person disappears.
I'm just reminding them that isn't the way the world works.
All that happens is that they don't see my comments. Except, obviously they do. :ROFLMAO:

but some how that’s the fault of those who buy bottled water

Nobody said it was bottle water buyers fault. It was just making the point, the world can fix these things easily if people put their minds, and money, to it.

where I live there is more than enough fresh water,

Reminds me of Switzerland - I think they have a law that requires every town to have a drinking water fountain / tap that is always flowing.
in fact, these free water supplies are even on a completely separate system so if there is a failure in the public water supply, people still have access to clean, drinkable water.

Whereas we still get hose pipe bans sometimes (although not for quite a few years now?) and are one of the wettest countries in the world! :)

And France.

Foreign Aid is measured as a percentage of Gross National Income (GNI). It is not measured as per capita.
You can't select the criteria in order to suit your agenda.
Nope! Far from it!
French Foreign Aid
France intends to increase its foreign aid budget. Currently, France allocates 0.44% of its gross national income (GNI) to foreign aid. The country’s president, Emmanuel Macron, has set a goal of attributing 0.55% of the GNI to foreign aid by 2022. This would increase the budget from its current amount, $12.2 billion, to over $15 billion, allocating nearly $3 billion extra to France’s foreign aid.

UK Foreign Aid (Notice how UK government information qualifies it with: "remains a world leading aid donor" as if to obfuscate the reality.)
The UK government remains a world leading aid donor spending 0.5% of our national income. We will spend more than £10 billion next year to fight poverty, tackle climate change and improve global health.

you can't use a figure that is little more than a future intention, france is currently giving 0.44,

And no matter which measure you use, whether it be, per Capita, Gross Total or GNI, the UK comes out way ahead of France, and even when we temporrily come down to 0.5, e will still be ahead of France on all measures.

Whatever way you like to twist it, the UK has been one of the most generousness nations anywhere. And to be honest so has France, just never as generous as the UK when it comes to foreign aid.

Your data is two years old. My data was bang up to date.
You're making a habit of selecting the data that you want to present to support your narrative.
You've switched to selectively presenting history to support your argument, but fillyboy initially referred to present and future intentions:
So foreign aid reduced from 0.7% of income to 0.5%
That's still more than France isn't it?

Don't forget that EU is listed separately and France contributes to that pot also.

How many of these countries have leaders and/or government departments that are syphoning off millions so they live like gods whilst their people live in poverty without basic services like water and shelter?

I would like to see every person on this planet live in a safe, healthy environment. However, am I going to start sending £x of my hard-earned to these places when my opening sentence often holds true? Nope.

Maybe if these countries have less help from developed ones it'll force them to do something about it. There again ...

Are you on about the UK, the Tories and their (now even richer) cronies? They had an absolute ball during the first lockdown.

Most of the aid given is tied aid which has to be spent on UK services or goods. I think about 80% plus is tied aid. Aid is used as wielding soft power.

Tories. We need to look after our own.

So £20 extra for poor families? F Off
Help leaseholder? F Off

I had bottled water when I went to Menorca , we were advised to keep our mouths shut when showering, the water smelt of kidneys.

Balearics!

When I went to Shagaluf in mid 80s, my guts were never right the whole time. $h1tt1ng through the eye of a needle for most of the two weeks. Backside looked like the Japanese flag and was tender as a bugler's lips. Put me off anywhere Spanish for life, but strangely not so much a a rumble from below when visiting Greek Islands. That Ouzo must kill the nasties.

The charade is you thinking asking the question is a gotchya and then stalking people for an answer.

Your standards are low. Now if you think I made that up - are you holding me to a higher standard than Bojo?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Poor Dumb Dangee.
