broken / dropped apex internal breeze block wall in loft

Hi everyone. I wondered if I could get people's thoughts on this? Level of urgency, worry, etc. ? :)

I apologise for the wobbliness of the loft-videos (the last 3), but I think you can begin to make stuff out in the 3rd video.

Very curious. That small section of blockwork seems to have dropped - quite dramatically - but the mortar blobs you referred to look like dot and dab from the plasterboard in the room below, which looks to be in the correct position. (well, if it wasn't you'd know about it in the room below!). This tells me that the blockwork was like that when the room below was finished, and the builder must certainly have realised? My guess is the blockwork fell away when it was unsupported, during the knock through, and the lazy builder CBA to sort it out properly.

Having said that the vidoes (whilst a good effort) are very difficult to get context being a bit too close! (and wobbly)

Thank you Jeds. I think you're right, and it is what I was thinking too. It's a shame when people don't care about the quality of the work though!
