Shower waste doesn't go quick enough

I'm thinking because I've been removing the water trap bit that hair has become stuck over time because it hasn't a trap to stop it but to start removing to start with suggests there was a problem originally I think

Run your shower ,hose directly into the trap outlet. If water doesn't run out ,the pipework is restricted ,and will need cleaning or replacing.
Does it run into an internal soil stack that terminates in attic space by any chance ?

The pipe looks 40mm although there doesn't look like much of a fall on it, not sure if the waste trap is fast flow and if this would make much difference and the tray is really shallow

It runs in the floor to an external stack, the house is only 8 years old and we've always had the problem so I'm thinking it's not a blockage issue but an installation problem

Do you think changing the trap to a fast flow will make any difference? Or fitting a deeper tray will this allow a better fall and flow?

Not if it’s an installation fault, no. If your trying to push water uphill, do you think pushing it faster will make much difference? Follow Terry’s advice first.

I've just tried it and I can't put the water on full before it starts to spill over

The pipe is blocked. You can buy a rothenberger drain cleaning snake for around £15 ,and try clearing the pipe work. What length is the pipe from trap to stack ?

This is where they come into the stack, there is a bath as well which drains away straight away when I put the tap on full, when I put water down the showers I could only reach to the top of the waste, do you think I should try and get down past the trap into the pipe to prove its not both the shower traps? I'm also thinking we only use one shower, the other has been used prob twice so I don't think it can be blocked unless it's because the one we use most is blocked which is closer to the stack and they are teed together but the 2 waste pipes outside would suggest there not?

I think you should try and clear the problematic one first, yes go down the trap, just be careful not to get it stuck.

Two waste pipes into stack, but you have a bath and two showers ,not to mention basin wastes. Are there other waste pipes going into the stack taking the others ?
