cement cost

was thinking of mixing my own cement, but seems alot of hard work, any idea how much ready mixed is i need approx 0.5 m3

0.5m3 isn't a lot, not worth readymix. Hire a cement mixer?

i have a small cement mixer but went on concrete calculator and it says 7 bags cement 12 sharp sand 24 aggregate .thought it would be easier ready mixed dependant on price.

Are we talking about concrete here? Cement is a grey powder.

1/2 a cube of conc' requires a tonne of ballast and (just under) 7 x 25 kilo bags of cement.

Personally I'd mix that small amount myself. Save risking being under or over. Minimum order maybe 1m3, you'd need to check.
