Does anyone know if it's possible to get a loo in the uk that flushes from mains water rather than having a cistern? It's to replace an existing toilet in a small space. Thank you

They are common in the USA but for some reason not used in the UK? Maybe our stupid OTT water regs again (air gap required for fluid cat 5) or because historically UK households were all expected to use a loft tank and gravity-fed system where the pressure and flow are too low for a direct flush.

How about an old fashioned high level cistern? Would that help?

Think you mean like you see in USA public and company toilets?

Think those flushes have a remote tank with a large bore supply pipe.

Yes, I could find plenty in the States! High level won't work as restricted height, also keen to get compact unit as close to the wall as possible. I may need to get back to wall unit and put the cistern on the other side of the wall, which is 30cm thick....

There's the stoopid money Roca Meridian In-tank but AFAIR a pure mains fed WC was recently launched by someone else...have a google.
