Has my boiler flue been installed correctly?

Hi all,

I've had a new Vaillant boiler installed by a Gas Safe Engineer, and have just noticed that the flue is slightly twisted - leaving a small gap on one side. Looks like the drilled glue was not perfectly centered above the boiler, causing the twist to fix it and meaning the engineer has been able to secure one side with screws but not the other.

Should I be worried about this and if so, what's the best resolution please? Images below (the gap is in the 1st image):

Doesn’t look like it’s in properly. Agree with Crossthread, it shouldn’t be used.

Thank you very much for your replies both - it's now been fixed :)

Glad you got it fixed. Can't imagine many DIYers doing a much worse job than the supposed "gas safe" fitter though. Good job you noticed what a crap state they'd left it in originally.
