Hi,
The plastic bath panel was loose for years i.e. had some gaps with no sealant. I took that for granted not realising how much of a problem it would be later on. It seems when the shower was used some of the shower spray run down the side and was soaking up some of the joists of the wood frame.
i manged to take the panel off yesterday out of curiosity as it was warping just to see if i can fix it properly. anyway got a shock.
Attaching a relevant picture of the wood frame joist that seems most affected.
* I have a mini steam cleaner at home - can i use this to spray onto that wood joist and scrape off some of the mould/gunk sitting on the surface of this small joist?
