My house has been externally insulted with 90mm eps board and then 6-9mm adhesive and render. I need to fix a video door bell to the wall and just wondering what the best fixings would be? I know if it's someting heavy, it should be fixed right through to the original wall, but this isn't heavy. Is a standard rawlplug enough or is there something better?

If your render is nice and smooth, I'd just go for 5 or 6mm plugs.....drill a small pilot hole first to minimise any crumbling of the render.
