I have this and it's fine outside on overcast days. No good in sunlight. https://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gcl215g-green-self-levelling-cross-line-laser-level/6756x Set up on a tripod (I use an old photo tripod) and then rotate around with your measuring stick to set levels.

Hi everyone. In the end I hired an automatic rotating laser level and it was fantastic. It was the Leica 620 and cost £35 per week which I thought was very good.
