Replacing rad - blanking off thermostat and lockshield?

Rookie question: I'm decorating and taking the opportunity to replace and old radiator with a new one. I know how to shut down the lockshield and TRV so I can remove the old one without draining the system, BUT I would like to blank off the lockshield and TVR whilst I re-decorate behind. (I know this isn't strictly necessary, but call me over-cautious!)

SO my question is: What fittings do I need to buy (Screwfix or Toolstation) to blank off the lockshield and TVR after I remove the old rad?

The existing nut sizes (if that helps) are 25mm on the lockshield and 20mm on the TRV

(I'm also assuming that these will be compatible with a modern radiator, so please shout if I'm wrong!)

1/2 inch BSP cap nut and rubber seal. And 3/4 cap nut and seal.
You will need to remove and re use the tails from the rad to fit into new rad.
Codes for tool station are 39184 and
94738 " compression blank nut"
A roll of PTFE tape for belt and braces.
