Garden room base help

I've had a concrete pad put down when our garden path was done unfortunately its the same height as the path, is this OK I thought it had to be raised ? The path around is resin so water doesn't sit on it

Should I lay a course of bricks to sit the wooden joists on or can I use bitumen on the joists and sit them straight on the pad

On engineering bricks ?
That would certainly work and they aren't too high at 65mm.

I think that's better than laying on bitumin as there's a risk of puddling on the slab and debris might build up so they end up sitting in damp
