Cavity block piers

Hi everyone.
I've to build a cavity block wall 8 courses high & 11m long.

The block Laying etc is no problem,my question is how do I do tidy piers?

I could do 4" solids ,2 flat,2 upright but I think that will be very chunky.

How can I put piers in the middle of the wall so both sides looks the same ?

Why?

If you need piers for a structural purpose then surely the designer would tell you what is required? And any pier is going to be chunky, so I don't understand what you are after.

Designer ? Yea I hired a world class architect to design a garden wall.
Get a grip of yourself.
Why even reply if you have nothing to add?

Certainly an option but I'd like to match an existing capped cavity blockwall.
I'm wondering can I build my cavity wall leaving ties out both sides and do a 4" solid up each side as a pier.
Well I know I can but is it the correct way.

If its a garden wall you can certainly give it a go.

Its also a boundary wall so I'd like it to be even if you get me.
I don't want to be accused of leaving the neighbor with the "ugly" side of the wall, not that it would be an issue (rural with large gardens).
The wall will be tied into a stepped footing with rebar also, piers are a belt & braces approach.

If it is your boundary wall, then you would normally have a flat face outward.

Otherwise your piers would be on your neighbour's land, or you would shift the whole wall towards yourself and lose a few inches.

Why does such a low wall need piers?
