  1. Press and hold the +1HR and MAN buttons on the left hand side. of the product. +1HR. MAN.
  2. Press the RESET button and hold for 3 seconds.
  3. Release the RESET button. The display will change to show the. current time.

Done that, doesn't reset the service interval, do these have an advanced menu?

sounds like it is knackered then, this happens when the power is cut to service the boiler, you could try switching the power off for 30 mins or so , then hold in the reset button when powering back up, hold for 5 seconds then release, sometimes works, if not new programer time, same unit still available so no wiring changes required

I thought this has happened because the service interval needs resetting in the installer advanced menu, that only an installer can access, ive tried to access by holding different buttons but no joy

No the sequence I posted above resets the service reminder, if the service reminder is showing you should still be able to boost both CH and HW for an hour at a time, so you are not without while waiting to get the boiler serviced, sounds like yours has just frozen, quite common to be honest

Had an engineer come round he fixed the problem in 10 minutes, apparently it was a fuse in the boiler
