Hi guys.

Never really had the knack for plastering, ive just given it another go and im impressed with the result (its good for me anyway, and way better than the last plasterer i paid for).

I am however struggling to get it it dead flat and im finding it difficult to push all of the trowel marks out. You can see the unevenness in the picture attached (low spots are dark).

Are the drywall sanders any good?
Im thinking about getting the dewalt 54v one.
Do freshly plastered walls take a lot to sand with these things?

Thanks

They are very good in the right hands.

Probably overkill for such a small job?

You can really mess it up with one if you don't take care.

That s a shed load of £££ for a machine that you may not use again??

Suggest if you want to go down this road have a look at "Pole Sanders" ??

As "Swwils" above, mechanical devices tend to dig holes

How about heavy lining paper??

You would be cheaper going on a plastering course, gypsum plaster is too hard to sand to a decent standard, those machines are for drywall.
