Personally I don't believe there has ever been free a country leader free of corruption in one form or another...

After all, how do you think they get to the top otherwise?

That's why collaboration is the way to go...

The UK of course has just taken a massive step backwards and encouraged corruption to accelerate!

The biggest opposition for Turkey joining EU has come from Germany and France.
UK was supportive of Turkey joining.

Poland is a key supporter for Turkey's bid to join the EU, while the United Kingdom has expressed support previously

Yep the Turks attempted to join

but the EU would not let them

imo it was due to the endemic racism amongst EU members

fortunately the UK have left the EU to it

tbh it was one of the reasons I voted to leave due to there treatment of the Turks
