Why would he put half the population into abject poverty if he didn't have to? Everyone on here either doesn't know, doesn't want to share it or simply doesn't have a view. Do you?
No where near as many even in bad years that have died from covid and just covid. Sometimes one of the secondary conditions that can crop up. Pneumonia, stroke, kidney failure .................. and uncle tom cobley and all. There is a long list.
Anyway at some point the moaners about simple precautions will get their way. No more of them at all. It's reckoned that some proportion will still take precautions even if just carrying a mask.
Then the country gets 100% herd immunity over time and lots will find out how well they can handle it when they catch it.Jab or no jab doesn't matter. Jabs improve the outcome. They wont protect people from catching it. How long will this take? No one knows but I suspect they needn't worry too much about boosters late in the year. Depends on how quickly it spreads. The current one seems to be the fastest spreading one so far. Next one ????????? nobody knows.

Ahem, you need to understand, people like Boris have for the whole of their lives lived in comfort and are still doing so. They have no idea what it is like to be a taxi driver with three kids living in a council flat and hoping there will be enough to buy family food for the week. Not only does he have no idea he simply doesn't care so it's not a matter of whether he has to have a lockdown at all rather it's actually a matter of he cares only about Boris and Boris must be seen to be doing the right thing. Problem is his judgement is and has been for a number of years, rather poor which is what Dominic Cummings was trying to tell us recently and thus he makes bad decisions ( which is why Mrs May sacked him a while back)......and he has just done it again!
He hasn't been too popular with the Tories as they see him as having lefty tendencies. He is there because he has helped them get elected and he like many in his sphere want to be PM.
Before all this come along I had been having the flu jab. Just because I had it, I wouldn’t knowingly breathe in what a flu laden person had just breathed out.
No, he means that COVID killed 130k people, despite of a lockdown.
If we hadn't had a lockdown, it's likely that more people would have died.
Lots of people die of flu each year, but far fewer than have died of COVID

I wish you could enlighten me. This is not only Boris but a worldwide pandemic with governments across the globe doing similar (not all the same) things.
The worst year for flu in the UK was 1918. Similar figure killed as COVID19.
Since seasonal flu vaccinations, the worst figure was around 35k
Our trip to Jersey next month is still on irrespective of the delay. Free Covid test on arrival and no need to isolate before we get the results all because…….we are double jabbers and have our Covid passports! Without that, we'd have to isolate for up to 12 hours.

Stop being a dick. Lockdown is extended because of people like you not getting vaccinated.
In answer to you questions:
No law broken, it is allowed now (read what I wrote - this was last weekend). Camping is allowed. Meeting people outside in small groups is allowed. Trips to the pub are allowed. Trips to restaurants are allowed. Tell me what I did that is not allowed.
I didn't ignore the first decrees. But you did by not getting vaccinated when the government advice was clear - get a vaccine when you can. Unless you're under 25 you would have been able to get one by now. Stop ruining it for everybody else, man up and get vaccinated.
