A reel of 4.0mm T&E cables, some 5mm dome head screws with nyloc nuts and flat washers to secure my shed doors from outside intrusion.

I saw it in the pharmacy window and I thought I’d have a go at a bit of DIY podiatry. Should be fun! :whistle:

I got myself some more spanners from Aldi, the previous set only goes upto 22mm and I have been finding that I need 23-25 more often so bought a new set:
They do the job quite well, Ill put the old set in the car.

A fresh packet of parsnip seeds from Sainsbury’s as less than a quarter of my seeds that were sown earlier actually germinated. Just got time to get them in and will be a nice winter crop.
 
Bought a replacement birthday break for Mrs Mottie in Bath after we had to cancel our Jersey one because it was getting too restrictive with Covid requirements for U.K. visitors. Shopped around and got a good deal - was £969 on Hotels.com, £901 on Booking.com but booking it on Booking.com though TopCashback, I got it for £864! I’ll also be getting £25 cashback and it’s nearly a grand cheaper than I was going to be paying for the Jersey hotel. :)

I dont like bragging and I'm not one to show off but when I've worked hard all my life I think I deserve a small treat. I'm so proud of myself for being able to go and pick what I wanted. White was the only colour but it doesn’t matter. I’ve just purchased all four of these beautiful white garden chairs and can't wait to get them home. :mrgreen:

Jersey is pricey, but it was lovely, not sure about now though. Sitting in a bar in Yatton, between Bristol and Weston super mare. Not sure which one go to tomorrow.
 
Shed is almost insulated. Next step will be building the work benches and moving the machines in to place.

Bought a organizer box from Lidl £7.99.
I can finally organise that bag of plates and angle brackets.

Err, sorry to turn this into a discussion, but just out of interest, how will you use the 4.0mm T&E to prevent intrusion? :whistle:
