Thanks to the mod for explaining it to mitch66.

Mitch66, maybe I'll change my username again in 50 days, or 50 weeks, or 50 months, or 50 years, whichever it was, just to keep you on your toes, or to misdirect you.

Blimey, you certainly lead a full life. How do you cope with such excitement?

Anyone on here old enough to remember the last time we beat them - 1966?

I was 9 years old and on a camping trip with a boxing club that I used to go to. They took us all to a church hall to watch the World Cup final. I remember being bored to tears! The following day I won the fishing competition and I still have my medal somewhere with a fisherman on the front and my name and date on the back. That was more exiting for me at the time.

I was on holiday, Butlins, not sure which one. I recall it was very noisy and lots of people were very very drunk.

I note our 'European friends' are determined to try and stop further matches being played at Wembley.

Rowlocks!

You (or someone of a similar mindset) tried to convince us tonight's match would not be played at Wembley due to the EU being spiteful.....ROFL!

The only possible reason I can think of where they may change the venue is if there is a serious COVID risk.

Did you hear that massive cheer go up from the bad news bears on here when the final whistle went last night? Me neither.

Germany hellbent on RUINING Euro 2020 - Merkel ally demands rethink over Wembley final | UK | News | Express.co.uk

Hours before England's clash with Germany on Tuesday afternoon - which is already operating at 50 percent capacity - German Chancellor Angela Merkel has objected to Britain hosting 60,000 fans at Wembley Stadium for the semi-finals and final of the football tournament.
Her intervention comes after she attempted to ban British tourists from travelling to European Union nations due to the infectious coronavirus strain currently spreading across the UK.
German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer urged Prime Minister Boris Johnson to not be "irresponsible for tens of thousands to gather in close proximity".
He said Mr Johnson should follow Munich's lead, which only allowed 20 percent capacity in stadiums to watch fixtures.
This would mean only 18,000 football fans would be allowed inside Wembley.

Earlier today, top Eurocrat Margaritas Schinas called for Uefa to rethink plans for Britain to host the Euro 2020 semi-finals and final.
Mr Schinas told the European Parliament he could not “personally” see the sense of the semi-finals on July 6 and 7 and the July 11 final being hosted in London.
He said: “I want to share my doubts about the possibility of organising the final and semi-finals at Wembley, in a packed stadium, at a time that the United Kingdom itself is limiting its citizens’ travel to the European Union.
“I think Uefa needs to carefully analyse this decision… a decision that needs to be taken with full knowledge of the facts.”

I imagine they were still in mourning over the France Switzerland game.
