If tiling brick bond in a kitchen I guess trim is needed where the tiling stops at the edge of the units as this would have a cut at the end? Also when setting out one wall I was going to go centre of extractor fan. The other the one with the sink. Would it be usual to centre the window? Thanks.

You don't necessarily need trim since you should be able to polish back the edge to match factory close enough, takes a few passes with something like a Rubi diamond pad.

Thanks there small ones with a beval all around wonderd with the half tile whether the beval would effect the finnish on the trim. Also when tiling on to the work top is it usual to tile straight on to the top of it or use a 1mm spacer? Thanks
