Madhu Bollapally, 43, left his wife Latha and 13-year-old son Rajesh in India to take up a job in Qatar in 2013. They never saw him again.
One night in late 2019, when his roommate returned to his dorm, he found Bollapally's body on the floor. Like thousands of other sudden and unexplained deaths, his passing was recorded as heart failure due to natural causes.
Despite working for his employer for six years, his wife and son received just 114,000 rupees (£1,120) in compensation and unpaid salary. Rajesh has no idea why his father died. “He had no health problems,” he said. “There was nothing wrong with him.”

I never had any intention of going. So a boycott, by me, is neither opposed nor supported.
