that says “flu and pneumonia”
Let’s see it just with flu.
Covid comes in waves, you can’t use figures for Covid at the bottom.
and long Covid is a major issue, it’s not just about deaths.

to be fair, using number of cases is not a very worthwhile metric. What we really need is positive rate per thousand.
The UK has very high testing levels (because it makes money for Tory mates) and so cases will be high.
but I do agree totally ending lockdown isn’t good - it’s all political, it’s to appease so called libertarians…..ie nutters like the ERG.

I, personally, wouldn't think that is stringent enough, but everyone makes their own judgement, and no doubt the rules were drawn up with government advisors agreement. I have enrolled on the daily testing trial, in the hope to get out the house sooner!
Thank God for vaccines though. Wife's symptoms got worse for a couple of days (with 2 jabs), but are getting better again.
Still no idea how I have avoided catching it. Must be all the booze I drink.
