Hi,
I bought a movement sensor to replace a pull cord light switch in our downstairs toilet. The new sensor has ports for LiveIn, LiveOut and 2 Neutrals but there is only a single switch cable (red, black and earth) connected to the existing pull cord switch.

Is the new sensor not compatible with the way the switch cables have been installed?
Or, could I just put the red wire to LiveIn and the black wire to LiveOut?

Thanks

I figured it out. The PIR sensor requires a neutral feed to be pulled from the rose as the sensor needs a circuit from which to draw its own power. Just having a single cable for the current switch is insufficient. Seems obvious now I've drawn it out and read the Q&A on screwfix!

Most manufacturers make them in two versions, one not needing a Neutral, however they are not as reliable and can be erratic when used with certain lamp types
