Hi - does anyone by any chance have a photo of the wiring for a Rangemaster 110 front facia panel, particularly the indicator lights and thermostat area (cooker was bought in 2005)? We've had to replace ours today (fire damage) and I think looking at it the wiring isn't right. There should be a wire from the RH tab of the 2 oven thermostats to the indicator lights but the electric grill doesn't have one, looks like the thermostat terminal is clean and never had one. Clock isn't working even though I didn't remove any of the wires from it. And yes, it's switched off at the wall while I'm working on it. I didn't manage to get a photo of mine. Long story. Also where is a good place to get a replacement clock at a decent price? Are the fleabay ones ok?

Had enough. Giving up and going to scrap it I think. Had it 20 years. Buy a new Belling range as I like them. Never been impressed with the RM build quality anyway.

Oh dear oh dear Rangemaster are superb.

Belling are cheap imports

You can download the manual for your rangemastet and the wiring diagram is in it !

I relented and bodged it but I'm an engineer by trade and really don't like the build quality. Chrome caps glues onto the control knobs that have all fallen off. Screws with no washers, the bottom drawer almost fell apart because no spring or locking washers. I had to provide those myself and rebuild it. The lower oven thermostat is supposed to have a connection from the tab on the top RH side to the front indicator. The tab is unscathed, unmarked and has never had a connection. We only use that oven at Christmas so never noticed the indicator doesn't work. One side of the grill packed up 2 years after we had it and I did the repair, cost me £12 and not a genuine part but it's lasted. I also had to change the fan oven motor, and the hot plate stopped working early on but we never used it. £110 to replace. Whatever. I'd prefer to have 2 extra burners that side anyway. We know 2 couples both of whom have cream Belling ranges and they've never had any issues with them. I'll keep it as long as I have to.

I fix cookers Bellings are very flimsy and if you think rangemaster are bad wait till you have to repair a Belling !

Yes the knobs are poor on that version.

What you need to do is check the oven door catches they wear and are easy to replace ( Belling door catches fun and sodding games ! )
Adjust the oven door to seal correctly and ensure there's no play in the nylon hinge bushes ( open the doors 45 degrees if you hold the outer corner and lift it up and down and if there's play. Pm me if you need a couple !
