Joining Laminate

Hi, moved into new house and floor is not joined straight through with a door join. How can I remove and fashion so it looks all one. I have some spare boards.

It’s an expansion gap , it needs to stay.

Is that gap along a door width?
If so, there must've been a threshold trim there at one point.

Sorry, just seen that a threshold trim is already there.
Leave it alone.

The flooring needs to expand and contract at a different rate to the adjacent area, leave the bar in place.
