Hi having had no problem for the past months engaging my home control it now refuses to poll to iCloud
I recently had a new router from sky but reset to original passwords etc as previous router
I contacted my agent who informs me for £78.0 he will come and “have a look” because he said it’s a wifi problem and not an alarm problem but why should it after such a long period of time
Is it something I could have a look at myself not being to clever with electrics
Cheers
Dave

Have you checked you are connected to the new router?
D user code for manager menu
Press no until Ser up Wi-Fi
Press yes
Set up WiFi no
SSID no
Password no
Signal strength yes
Should now display signal strength if connected to router.
If not 're enter SSID and password.

Have checked at reverse on my sky router and it has no ssid number just a Mac number and a serial number

Go on your phone … go to WiFi ,what does it say ? That’s your SSID
Eg SKY123A

You are not connected to the Wi-Fi, that's why you are not polling the cloud.

Follow this LINK and view the document in your browser it gives troubleshooting for Wi-fi setup and other bits

Hi the sky ssid on the card that came with the router has a different ssid than the router
I sorted that but went through menu to input ssid and got to input password but found that when I got to the last letter which was f the button on the panel it didn’t display an f on display it shows a £ sign when changing it to caps using A button it shows E on display
Slowly going mad arrrrgggg
Dave

The f in lower case has what looks like an under score and when you press A it turns to a capital, but from the display it does look like £ but it is actually an f.

Had enough today will try tomorrow thanks for help and yes when I try to run what looks like a £ sign (or f on the key) it turns the f int a capital E
