Oven not working

The wire at the back of my oven has come loose and it’s stopped working.
I have taken the cover off the fan.
Any ideas what I need to do?

Can you afford to buy a multimeter?
 
Do you mean that black horizontal line in the pic.? That looks more like a tie wrap than a wire. Do you know if power is getting to the oven, is there a clock or indicator that is showing or is the oven completely dead?

The black horizontal thing in the first pic is the thermostat sensor, not a wire.
 
Yes it is a metal rod. I think it was attached to the back but has now come lose.
It is a double oven, the top one works fine but there is no problem to the bottom one.
 
It may have become unclipped or the securing clip rusted away,but that won't stop the oven working.Is the fan running and just no heat.
