Not sure if thos this is an electric or plumbing topic nut here goes.ive moved some pipes from here: (Note the earth bonding on the old pipe run)

To here

In terms of the earth bonding, do i just re fit the earth straps to the new pipework providing nothing else has changed other than moving the pipes? Is there anything else i need to do

I’m sure an electrician will be along soon, but in the meantime, it’s worth knowing there are difference between equipotential bonding and taking earth back to consumer unit.

it likes it just joins the hot and cold feed - however it might be good to say if this is a bathroom or other room and where any other earth wires go.

Yep i forgot to mention that its a bathroom and the earth cable was just joining the hot and cold feeds.

The pipes go under the floor into a hw cylinder cupboard where there's several other existing earth straps linked up to the old/existing pipe work that have not been modified

Can't tell if it is actually necessary on the internet, but -

as it has been there for a while, fitting it to the new pipes won't make anything worse.

Just seen your post about the airing cupboard.

If the same two pipes are bonded in the cupboard, you don't need a second one in the bathroom.
