My heating system pressure drops 0.3bar over 24 days. I can find no leak so assume it must be under a floor. I am also not sure what the lost volume of water is, the estimated trapped volume is 120 litres. Any suggestions. Has anyone used track and trace to find a small leak?

Empty some cheap/strong smelling aftershave in.
Shut all the doors
Run the system

Which room(s) stinks? (or the Hot water....)

If none, then it's the boiler heat-ex

Nozzle

Might be an expansion issue or relief valve seeping.

What boiler?

In the absence of any other evidence, isolate flow and return via the valves on the boiler. Observe pressure gauge. If gauge falls over, say, 10 minutes, then it is a leaky hex.

NOTE: The reason for asking which boiler is that some valves will leak when you turn them, so this method is not recommended for certain boilers
