I don't understand. Why are we so desperate to move all Afghans away from Afghanistan?
Why not send troops and push the Taliban back ? What about air strikes in Taliban strongholds?
It's as if we want Afghanistan's population to be only Talibans!

Yes, but surely a surgical operation can push them back and a UN Peacekeeping force can maintain a line like they do in some countries.
The reason the US is retreating, defeated, is that public opinion will not allow it to engage in a war where Americans get killed. The American defeat in battle at Mogadishu in 1993 showed how it works. Hundreds of Somalis were estimated to have died. Some 18 Americans and two UN soldiers were killed. Within six months, the US had withdrawn its forces from Somalia.
If they try to hang on without the permission of the new rulers of Afghanistan, they know there will be armed resistance.
no doubt they will continue to operate drones and missiles remotely, and may try to find proxy fighters on the ground.
ex-president Trump gave away any negotiating leverage the US had last year, when he agreed to pull out.

so some Afghan who was working as an interpreter for the CIA presents his self at the air port with paper work telling the taliban what he has been up to for the last 20 years

I dont understand why some are so desperate to see a civil war over there.
We lost the war. Time to get out and allow the Afghans to finally have peace.
Tried - failed.
Because they are now living next door to regular (peaceful) afghans.

As i said I aint got no beef with china, even though thats North Korean generals, who i also have no beef with.
You on the other hand appear to love war, so why dont you go and fight those North Koreans or Chinese?

Its not surprising that some here love the idea of funding civil wars in other countries. The Empire is dead guys, get over it.
Britain is no longer a major player militarily on the world stage.
Rather then egging on civil war in Afghanistan, back off, move out, take our noses out and allow these people to make peace and then slowly start developing their nations. Afghanistan gas a lot of natural resources and mineral wealth. If invested in by regional powers, and no damned war, Afghanistan could well develop into a prosperous nation. I hope they will.
Whereas some idiotic guys here in the UK want to live out their warped fantasies by seeing wars in others lands so they can discuss it online.
Leave the Afghans to decide their own fate. We have been well and truly humiliated and defeated over there. Lets bring all the troops home and start spending those billions building our hospitals, our roads, building more schools here, more NHS GP surgeries etc.
Also lets see real justice. Lets see those American Blackwater terrorists, those private military contractors, those rapists and child killers brought to justice for their many war crimes in Afghanistan.
