Searching on here results in advice re. cleaning the outside of windscreens, but I'm unable to find anything for the inside. Using one of these micropore pads on a stick/handle I've tried plain water, rubbing alcohol or a white vinegar/water mix, but still cannot avoid streaks. Perhaps a mixture of the above would be more successful ?
I've no problem using propriety spray products on the inside of the side windows, but dubious about using them on the 'screen.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I use Mr. Muscle glass cleaner on the inside.....but the screen must be cool. Loads of shop towel to buff and the result is fine.
John :)

Autoglym Fast Glass is fine on the windscreen, it evaporates and leaves no residue. I don't get on with those pads on a plastic stick. I get on better with a couple of normal microfibre cloths.

I like to buy the most expensive branded product i can find, if it's less than a tenner a bottle then
I won't even entertain it. Unfortunately I've ran out so used a dash of fairy liquid instead. Good grief....it worked. (y)

I entirely agree with you from an efficiency standpoint, but my arm/shoulder will no longer tolerate the unnatural angles required & the steeply sloping rear screen of a saloon is impossible for me without the 'stick' (n)
Thank you for your response.

Used that method on windows inside the home, followed by a Karcher window vac. & it works a treat. Unfortunately due to it's physical size the vac. would be totally impractical for 'screens inside a car.
Thank you for your reply.

MIR car polish works well for the inside. A few drops on a cloth, spread, the buff up using maybe a second cloth.

Egg cup full of meths in a couple of litres of water, microfibre cloth dunked in and then well wrung out, clean windows inside then outside, redunking as you go, easy peasy (y)
