Old Honeywell to New Thermostat wiring...

you are hi-jacking an old post, against site rules and for good reason, you will only get the correct answers if you start your own post

sorry I am new to all this, I don’t know what to do, i just wanted to confirm something with the op

No problem, the OPs origional post got quite complicated, and not the normal , so anyone reading gets confused with their set up and yours, hence why , ask for your own set up, post as many pics as you can , and you will get the answers you are looking for , pics give a lot more information than anything else

As said Pics are best, all boilers use different numbers , and wire colours can never be trusted in heating systems, pics are your best friend

Same as any other method, upload a file. Also, I thought it was agreed to start a new thread? If you want to know that, click the sub-forum of where to post, eg: plumbing and heating, and then there’s should be an orange button a little way down on the left.

I don’t want to start a new post as people might not know the answer, that’s why i wanted to get the information from the op as he found the answer. Thanks anyways guys.

You dont understand , the origional OP didnt, he had origional installation issues, , but if you dont want the correct advice then that is fine, some people cant be advised
