Would anybody know if I could stand on this porch roof to paint the windows and soffits? It seems solid and I think the plumber has been on to fit the boiler. Wood construction with steel supports?

I would be inclined to give it some more support, by wedging some timber under it, down to the ground.

The same could be asked of you - it seems almost every time I respond to a post, you dip in with a critical remark.
You argued every point on the leaking float valve thread, you were wrong and when I asked you how long you have being a plumber- there was no reply. I wonder why??

Oh I see the issue now - no one is allowed to challenge your knowledge, or offer an alternative opinion solution. I could ask you the same, how long have you been a builder?

Lots of the time, many of us are wrong on this forum - even you. Diagnosis at a distance, from a written description is difficult, often made more difficult by the person posting the questions. You do appear to be hyper-critical of anyone giving a wrong diagnosis, or offering an alternative to your solutions. Your word, has to be the final word.
