Gardtec CPX alarm system cannot enter engineer mode

Hi,
I have a gardtech (I believe to be CPX) alarm system. I wanted to reprogram some of the zones, so I followed the reset engineering code and master code steps. (power cycle 1, 9, yes, no) and this seemed to reset both the engineer master code.

However, now when I type "1 2 3 4", I get "Set Engineer?" on the panel, but pressing no doesn't do anything and allow me to enter engineer mode - the panel continues to display the above message. Pressing yes will arm the Alarm.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Enter master code ….start setting , now put in eng code it will stop , now use eng code …

It the EN Setting , you can change it ! In EN2 a user has to authorise engineer access
