Hi all, I've discovered some loose bricks above my front door. It looks like it's been caused by a bad install of the front door, also the frame of the door is now moving along the top. It looks like the canopy will have to be removed as two coarse are loose. Can someone tell me what is needed to be done please as I have no clue. I've uploaded a video to YouTube.

Many thanks

Looks to me it needs a proper lintel to support the brick course, very common when old wooden door frames are removed and UPVC windows (or in this case door) is fitted. Originally the timber frame was bricked in as the wall was built and was strong enough to support the courses above. UPVC frames are not designed to be load bearing. Had a similar problem with my (horrible tilt and turn) patio doors when I changed them I got a proper lintel put in.
