Anyone know what this could be?

I accidentally kicked this material whilst walking from my hotel to my destination in Solihull, Birmingham. I picked it up without realising it could be dangerous, my fault I know. Took some pics as I was stumped as to what it could be.

Does anyone know what this is? I'm not sure if it's asbestos or a more harmless material like Celenit or Stramit, although I believe it's too thin for stramit and doesn't compare to other pics I've seen of stramit.

Pics in imgur link below, they can be downloaded as high res for closer inspection.

Any help would be appreciated.

Too much sanitiser during lockdown is rough on the hands :)

Looks like a piece of decayed OSB to me (a type of wood particle board) Certainly doesn't look like asbestos.

I'll take the opposite view - looks like asbestos cement to my eyes. If all you did was pick it up and drop it back down, why worry?

Kicking asbestos or picking it up doesn't kill you. Breathing in the fibres that it gives off when you break it, drill it or grind it might kill you. Relax and crack on with life. :)

Just to let you all know, I returned to the sample, double bagged it and got it tested.
It was on the side of a public footpath so I didn't want anyone else disturbing it plus it was for my own piece of mind as well.

The test came back as "no asbestos detected" which is good. They titled the sample as "insulating board" on the certificate

Many thanks to the peeps in this thread who took time out to have a look and offer their opinions. Twas appreciated.
