Bought this product, but the round collar does not fit inside the tube/flue. Sizewize, the collar is exactly the same as the flue so it's millimetres too big to connect. The flue has been in the wall about 15 years. It's a different manufacturer but I threw the old cover away because I thought I had the right product.

Any ideas how I can sort this. 5 inch open hole in my flank wall now :)

A straight coupler piece should be able to fit over the existing pipe, and therefore over the cowl as well?

If you can find a small piece of pipe the same diameter, cut a slice 25-50mm off and remove a section of the pipe about 5mm along it's "length"
It will glue/friction fit and allow same size connection,
Or just cut off the back of the wall plate and screw it to the wall

Sorry, silly question!
I just wanted to check that this was a cowl for an air vent, and not an appliance flue? :)
