Hi everyone

I've just converted half of my garage into office space and am looking at putting in worktops and storage. I've had a few quotes for fitted office furniture, but am also considering using kitchen furniture instead and fitting myself.

I'm looking for a worktop height of about 750mm, and looking at using 720mm kitchen base units with little/no legs to get this done. I know I'll need to lift them slightly to ensure any doors open without scuffing the floor, but wondering if there's any issue doing this? Are the legs really necessary outside of a kitchen?

Cheers

You could use reduced height cupboards or bridging units which would allow legs and look more in proportion .I would fit with castors instead of legs , allows reconfiguration if you want to change layout .
