Hi

Can anyone recommend what locks I should have on a door going from my utility room to garage on side of our newly renovated semi detached house.

I know the idea is that if someone was to get in , this would just slow them down if they were really determined to get inside. We would also have a burglar alarm on the property.

But still would like it to be secure. I understand that we need to have a fire door for building regs.

See attached photos, would you think this would be sufficient or something else or in addition?

Thanks PHOTO-2021-08-30-11-28-38.jpg PHOTO-2021-08-30-11-28-40 (1).jpg PHOTO-2021-08-30-11-28-40.jpg

That lock is OK.

Although I'd go with a TS007 three-star Euro/Oval cylinder (on a suited key with all the other doors), and a quality mortice sash or deadlock

If you like, on the house side, a mortice rack bolt top and bottom for occasional use

As per usual your advice is much appreciated @^woody^
