Hi there

would love some advice on how to wire old 2 way double light switch to a new double dimmable light switch (one is simply on/off).

The old switch is as follows:
top row:
A 2way = 2 x red wires
A 1way = 1 black, 1 blue
B comm = yellow

bottom row
A comm = yellow
B 2way = 1 black, 1 blue
B 1way = 2 x red

The double dimmable switch is 2 x com L1 L2 (see picture below)

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Firstly, the two old switches are not bottom row and top row but two triangles, the same as the picture you have shown.

However, the old switch has one triangle upside down and the picture you have shown has both triangles the same way up.

1 way = L1 and 2 way = L2.

Also, a dimmer switch is not likely to be marked the same and might not be suitable for a two-way system.

Post a picture of the new switch.

BTW the A's and B's are the two separate switch connections.

So the new double dimmer switch is the same triangle layout as the picture below, sadly I don't have an actual picture of it and one of the dimmers is a switch on/off as there is already a dimmer on this circuit if that makes it any clearer...
