I can't help but see and compare the current furore of women now distrusting Police, following this horrific misuse of authority by a Police Officer, and the years of lack of understanding of black people distrusting the Police following such misuses of authority by police against black people.

Unworkable and pointless.

And also fails to deal with the situations where witnesses lie, confessions are forced or falsified, evidence is suppressed or falsified, and the end result is the false appearance of "no doubt".

Albert Pierrepoint never had a problem, as he said, his victims had been tried and found guilty and he just carried out what was required by the law

Its not a waste, any more than having a police force instead of every-man-for-himself-vigilantism is a waste. Any more than having courts where evidence is tested instead of summary justice is a waste. Its one of the costs of having a civilised society instead of a barbaric one.

A state which kills people in vengeance is not a civilised one.

So your thing that would never happen (there being a state-sanctioned queue of vengeful private citizens eager to kill someone) is OK, but mine is made up rubbish?

ok than that bloke who killed joe cox is on film

that bloke who be headed lee rigby in the street

both guilty we will execute those two scumbags

and any parole officer or who ever who is responsible for releasing any criminal early that re offends
They can be jailed as well for negligence

hold them responsible for there actions for ounce jail time will
