Hi all. I've a flat roof (GRP) in which there's a very slight leak - whenever the rain is really heavy. I'm at a complete loss as to where it's getting in. The roof is only 3 years old. It's in good shape - there're no obvious areas that could be failing. Flashings good, all sealed up. The roof itself covers a mansard pod room, and so i thought it was maybe it was the guttering that was the problem. I removed it and just let the water run down the slate mansard and it was much better, thought I'd cracked it in fact- but - low and behold, last night it came in again.

I've been looking on line at some companies that say they use hi-tech kit to find leaks. I'm thinking of getting them in. Does anyone have any experience of these firms? Maybe recommend one to me? I'm in Hammersmith west London.

Thanks for reading.

I've worked on a few jobs with these company's and must admit they are good haven't seen them on GRP roofs but large rubberbond or silerfel roofs
So would say worth a try

Thanks gonch.. They look a bit pricey though, what with their flash websites and all. But it's well worth it I'm sure.

Under the GRP Drip trim is PVC facia. I've covered it in flash band, probably unnecessarily then down on to slates.
