No Joist End - How do I Support Floor?

Hi All,

Putting in new joists (suspended timber ground floor) and with combination of 400/450 centres have managed to keep it all relatively uniform. However there is a return no joist lands on and therefore will be no support for the floor (pic attached). What's the solution to this to get something in there that will support floor ends?

Anything I can do with the joists e.g. nogging across the joists and then run a short piece from wall plate to nogging or would that be classed as a trimmed joist?
 
Fix a noggin across from the end of the left joist to the right joist and then fix a bit of joist from the noggin through past the return to the back support wall

You have cocked up grizzy! You should have let the fire place support come over to the next full joist and then added an 18" piece. You can now put a noggin in and use a small piece suitable down the side of the chimney.
 
Thanks tony1851, that was the solution in my head, just wondered if BC would be happy with it i.e. it's something commonly done. Not sure if small bit of timber along the wall becomes a trimmed joist and you need additional support etc like trimmer joists for openings.
Catlad - not quite sure I follow suggestion. Is it to extend wall plate timber is resting on out to next joist beyond the sleeper wall supporting it?

On this small scale it doesn't matter; no need to double-up or anything.
