Hi all,
I’ve moved into a new rented property over the weekend and can’t work out how to turn the hot water on !

The boiler has a Drayton LP20RF clip-in controller BUT the instructions with it are for an LP10 and google has only shown me units that don’t look like mine.

The buttons only seem to control the heating. The off/timed/once/on text on the right of the screen, above the words ‘hot water’, has no arrow by it and there is no LED like there is on the heating side. This is different from all images of this controller I can see. I also seem to be missing a couple of buttons.

Can anyone shed any light ?
Thanks,
Andy

The LP20 and the LP20RF are different, looks like you have a combi boiler in which case the HW just fires whenever you open a HW tap

Thanks Ian. I actually posted the wrong library image, duh. My LP20RF doesn’t look like this one.

Never had a combi boiler before so didn’t even think of that but it’s not producing any hot water either way so I’m a bit stumped. Central heating is working so I know the boiler is on and heating water.

Have to admit never seen the programmer you have , have seen the other one, I see the HW thermostat is set at E, try turning it to max and see if the HW now works when you open a hot tap
